Entrepreneurship & Job Training

Ohio Emergency Medical Technician Course

The Ohio Emergency Medical Technician Course (EMT) course provides the framework upon which all other emergency care skills and knowledge are based.

Paramedic Certificate Program

The paramedic certification program is a seven-course sequential non-credit program that begins in August each year.

SSU Phlebotomy Course

In the , you will learn the theoretical knowledge of a Phlebotomy Technician. You will be prepared to sit for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) You may work with physicians/doctors, nurses, and other healthcare-related professionals. 

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant course will prepare you to work as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), designated by the National Healthcare Career Association (NHA).

Kricker Innovation Hub

51°µÍř is a leader in regional entrepreneurship through our new now open on Chillicothe Street in downtown Portsmouth. This is a landmark facility that promotes entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity in the region.

The SSU Performing Arts Academy offers classes in the performing arts at Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.
