Minimum Requirements for ALL Selective Admission Programs:

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA (High School or College)

Pathway 1

  • ACT Composite Score of 18/SAT 960-980
  • Science Reasoning Score 18
  • College Ready (Placement in ENGL1101, ENGL1102, or ENGL1201 and MATH1200, STAT1150, STAT1150A, or MATH1200A) May be proved by ACT or Accuplacer

Pathway 2 (excludes Physical Therapist Assistant)

  • Waived ACT with 20 credit hours of qualifying college coursework
  • Specific coursework qualifications determined by each program

Program Specific Admission Criteria:

Note: Students who do not have an ACT score may demonstrate science proficiency through coursework, such as high school/college science classes.

Nursing ADN

  • Requires a composite ACT of 22 and an 18 in each sub category or take the TEAS and score a 70% or higher on composition and a 70% or higher in all four sections.

Nursing BSN

  • Requires a composite ACT of 22 and an 18 in each sub category or take the TEAS and score a 70% or higher on composition and a 70% or higher in all four sections.
  • Must complete the first 3 semesters of pre-nursing coursework as outlined in BSN checklist, apply March 1st of freshman year for conditional admission

Physical Therapist Assistant

Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Grade of C or higher in college or high school algebra, biology, chemistry
  • Students with college credit will need to take at least 10 non-OTA required courses. Of those 10, at least 7 hours must be BIOL1130 (Anatomy & Physiology I) and STAT1150 (Intro to Statistics)

  • 10 hours of job shadowing
  • Uses score-based ranking system to determine top 25 applicants
  • Grade of C or higher in college or high school algebra and biology
