51�� announces 2025 Orientation Dates

51��’s Office of Admission has announced New Student Orientation dates for those students enrolling to the university in the Autumn 2025 semester.

51�� has received $539,910 from the Ohio Department of Higher Education in Choose Ohio First (COF) scholarship funding.

A native of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Hunter Correll found a welcoming environment on campus when visiting 51�� for the first time.

51�� to offer ACT Test Prep on Feb. 1

51�� will host an ACT Test Prep session on Saturday, Feb. 1 for high school juniors and seniors looking for additional assistance in preparing for an upcoming ACT test date.

“Pretty Woman, The Musical” coming to the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on Jan. 21

The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts (VRCFA) at 51�� will host Broadway’s “Pretty Woman, The Musical” on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

51�� on Winter Break Dec. 23 – Jan. 3

51��’s campus and administrative offices will be closed for Winter Break starting Monday, Dec. 23 and will remain closed through Friday, Jan. 3, 2025. Access to the MySSU student portal – including registration, payment plan, student billing, financial aid, etc. – will still be available throughout the closure.
