The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts (VRCFA) at 51°”Íű will host Broadway’s “Shrek, The Musical” on Thursday, Oct. 17. The show, held in the Eloise Covert Smith Theater of the VRCFA, will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Bringing ‘ogre-sized’ family fun, the greatest fairy tale ‘never told” comes to life in a whole new way in a breathtaking Broadway musical adaptation of the hit movie Shrek. It’s the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and feisty princess who resists her rescue. With all-new original direction and choreography by Danny Mefford (whose works include Dear Evan Hansen), this reimagined production brings the show back to its roots – giving it a new kind of love emphasizing the importance of loving ourselves and one another.

Tickets for “Shrek, The Musical” are available $70.00 for Standard, $67.00 for Seniors, and $60.00 for 18 & Under.
